The rent has changed in the last TWO YEARS multiple times, this last increase was $40, so the 10x20 storage unit I initially rented for $189/month now costs $317. I'm moving out. They will not prorate the days you pay for, so if you give notice you won't get the rest of your money back for that month. Be aware if you rent from this company that your rent is going to continually go up. I found another nice unit the exact same size in the heart of town that costs less than half of this amount. Pros: It is clean, quiet, and safe. The facilities seem relatively new. You can reach outsourced customer service by phone easily. You can pay online.

After the first call, I wasted an hour of my time to check on the unit only to discover that the unit was secure and nothing was amiss. The following day, Copper Safe Storage called and told me the same lie again. They had no explanation for their time-wasting falsehoods. I do not appreciate companies I pay for their services wasting my time. I will be cancelling this lease as soon as possible. I finally moved out of my storage facility. During the time that I was renting from them, they substantially raised their rates and added a requirement that you purchase insurance through them. The automatically added the insurance to your monthly fee. I have not found their customer service particularly helpful. While the storage facilities are relatively new and clean, I can't recommend them.
