Renting a Storage Unit
How do I rent or reserve a storage unit?
When you find the storage unit that’s right for you, you can either rent or reserve it by giving our team a call or filling out the form online. You can reserve a storage unit up to 30 days before moving in, allowing you to have peace of mind that you have your unit secured in time.
What type of documentation do I need to provide to rent a storage unit?
We require a government-issued photo ID to check in and receive your keys to your storage unit. Accepted forms of identification include driver’s licenses, state IDs, or passports.
Do I need to sign a long-term lease?
At Copper Storage Management, we offer month-to-month leases, allowing you to have flexibility when it comes to managing your storage account. Avoid large deposits or unnecessary lease terms and only pay for storage when you need it.
When can I move in?
If there is a storage space available that meets your specific storage needs, contact our call center from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to set up a move-in date or rent your unit online and get all the information you need to move into your new storage unit in just a few clicks!
Do you sell boxes?
No. We are a remotely managed company and therefore do not supply boxes or storage supplies. This includes boxes, dollies, and handcarts.
How do I make a payment?
Seamlessly pay your bill by contacting our call center from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Our online bill pay system is another secure and convenient option. If you don’t want to pay online, you can mail in a check or money order. Worried about missing a payment? You can sign up for autopay and avoid having to remember another bill due date.
Are there any items that are prohibited to store?
Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials, and perishables are items that aren’t allowed in any of our storage facilities. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.
Do you offer secure storage features?
Yes! When you rent with Copper Storage Management, you can have peace of mind knowing our remotely managed facilities are fully fenced with keypad entry, as well as digital video recording is available at select facilities.
How do I know what size of storage unit to rent?
Our storage units range in size from 5×5 to 10×30, comparable to a walk-in closet all the way up to a large garage. To better narrow down which storage unit size would be best for you, our unit size guide can help.
What are climate-controlled units?
When you need to store items that may be sensitive to inconsistent temperatures, a climate-controlled storage unit can help. With a climate-controlled storage unit, you have the ability to maintain a more consistent temperature range inside your storage unit despite changing temperatures outside. How much notice do you need before I move out?
All of our leases are on a month-to-month basis. However, we do request at least 10 days notice before moving out of one of our storage units.
