This company will take you to the cleaners! I'm not kidding they bought the storage units and when they did we were paying less than 100 in less than a year they have doubled that amount and has been nothing but increase rates and late fees, they cut your locks and give you their locks so they can have access to anything you have!!!! Not even worth 1 star but had to give just to post it. EDIT: tell your lies all you want, I have proof of it and will be grateful to get my things from greedy people continuing to up the prices from 90 to now over 160...

I'm not kidding they bought the storage units and when they did we were paying less than 100 in less than a year they have doubled that amount and has been nothing but increase rates and late fees, they cut your locks and give you their locks so they can have access to anything you have!!!! When I rented the space I was told that you have to leave the property by 10pm. If you do not make it out by 10 it will set off an alarm when you leave. On Friday I dropped a load off at my storage room and proceeded to exit the property at 9:55 pm. The gate would not open for me to depart. By 9:58 PM I began to call the local number, hoping to get some assistance with getting off of the property. No one answered, I called several times and still did not get an answer. I got out of my vehicle and walked around, looking at the different signs on the property hoping for an emergency contact number or something that would help me get out. There wasn’t anything that was helpful. I ended up calling a friend, asking them to come and put my code in from the outside, hoping and praying that it would open the gate being that they tell you that Access ends at 10pm. Gratefully, it worked. However, when I called on Monday to address this issue with a Copper Safe representative, they attempted to dismiss my concern, by telling me that no one had complained about any issues with the gate today but they would make a note. When I pushed for a better response, the representative who says his name is Jay told me that if it was before 10 pm, I should’ve been able to reach them by phone. I informed him again that I was not able to reach them from 958pm till well after 10:00 PM. He offered no real solution so I asked for a manager. After being on hold for quite some time, he came back and gave their standard information that they are available from 8 AM to 8 PM for calls. He proceeded to tell me he was transferring me to an available manager, whose name was supposed to be Priscilla and then hung up on me. Why change a 24 hr access property to 10pm then still cut the time short for exit. I had a child and a senior citizen with me, and I feel like this was a very unsafe thing. Things happen, but you should have a back up for emergencies and there is none. To be dismissive about what happened just makes it all worse. I still have not had any satisfactory resolution or contact with someone who cares to reassure me and attempt to make it right.
