I have been with Rocket Storage for 3 years and they have been wonderful. I downsized and recently cleared all my belongings and am sadly moving on but want to give them credit for all my belongings having no water damage or dust or even odor on any sort which sometimes other storage units in the past have done. I was pleasantly greeted by Jonathan as I was closing my account, he was very helpful, a really kind person, who also didn’t push for anything more than helping me close my account. Jonathan was so pleasant and helpful with my storage unit with closed the unit with ease. If I ever need storage again I will definitely use Rocket Storage again. Thank you!

I LOVE this place!! Being able to access my unit any time 24/7 is so helpful & stress free. Everything is always secure, clean and well lit. I feel safe going there at any time of the day or night which really helps with my crazy work schedule. I can’t say enough good things about this place it’s totally worth the extra bucks. Interesting storage place to say the least. It's cool though convinient online move in so no person to person contact is needed which is a huge plus in this time of social distancing. But climbing a ladder/moving stair case to my unit was some what surprising but not as bad as you'd think tbh. Didn't see my email with door code so frantically called when I went to check the unit out and rocket self storage was fast to respond also very nice to have someone fast to respond. All in all I like it Ill keep my unit small but perfect for me the minimal belongings I have to keep in there .

Never had an issues with this place. There is no onsite rep, but the owner quick to respond and has always answered when I called.

New update: Shannon proclaims to be the manager, just called and yelled at me, raised her voice and talked over me, then hangs up the phone. Super unprofessional. Says the owner locks the door “when he feels like it” Update: management only cares about optics and while they promptly responded to my review and assured me they would promptly address my broken lock, no action was taken. I returned a week later to find my property still unlocked. Texted the lady who initially reached out and now receiving threatening replies. Totally unprofessional, horrible service. Zero concern for your property or upkeep of their facilities broken locks! Absolutely horrendous customer service/non-existent. Outsourced phones to the Philippines might as well be talking to a brain-dead robot reading from a script. Contacted them to advise my electronic lock was not working. Quoted 10 DAYS!! To have batteries replaced. I asked to be compensated for the days my property would be unsecured. 20minutes on hold and zero resolution. If you pay rocket storage for electronic monitoring you should receive the contracted service. If there is a lapse in service, recompense is expected. Will be looking elsewhere for storage. This business does not care about security or maintaining their facilities. Totally apathetic phone agents with zero customer service.

Contacted them to advise my electronic lock was not working. Quoted 10 DAYS!! To have batteries replaced. I asked to be compensated for the days my property would be unsecured. 20minutes on hold and zero resolution. If you pay rocket storage for electronic monitoring you should receive the contracted service. If there is a lapse in service, recompense is expected. Will be looking elsewhere for storage. There are a lot of fake reviews for this company. Check yelp for their average 2 star rating. I am incredibly disappointed with this company. I should have taken our initial phone call as a sign to hang up and look elsewhere. Very unprofessional customer service representatives. We booked our unit over the phone and was assured that everything would be ready for move in. When showing up at the unit, we discovered that there was no locking mechanism on the door. The facility uses code entry to lock and unlock their unit doors and the actual locking mechanism was missing on our unit. We called the customer service line and were told to put a padlock on the door so it would "appear" to be locked to deter theft. I spent more than 30 hours on hold and working with over 17 very unprofessional customer service reps to find a resolution to my (their) problem. They used phrases like "No worries about that", when i mentioned being worried about the possibility of stolen items. They were very passive and did not take my concerns seriously. I was given an email address to a totally different company to send photos and videos over to, I received one response that a ticket has been created but no follow up despite all of my attempts. Finally , after 3 days fighting with the company, a csr told me that a representative would be there in an hour to install a lock and give me a call after it was completed. I never received a call. I called back and was told there has been no response or update to my ticket. I asked if there was a timeline and they told me they had no way of contacting anyone for an update. After putting me on hold for an hour, they got back on the line a told me the owner would be there to install the lock within the hour and would give me a call back when it was completed. Again, no call. After 5 days, there is still no resolution. I highly recommend not working with this company, as they have no idea how to provide customer service and they charge about 3 times more than surrounding companies because storing with them is "convenient". Edit: After writing this review, reporting the company on BBB, flying a team member from AZ to San Diego to move belongings, and reserving a new unit at a different storage facility, I FINALLY received a call from "Brit" with Rocket Storage/ Copper Storage. She initially told me that our unit was never unlocked and that the owners of the storage take "great care" to ensure each storage unit is locked at the end of each day AGAIN pointing blame at me. I had to explain the above situation to her. Emphasizing that I was told I would receive a call once the unit was secured, and never did. I discussed how unprofessional her customer service reps were with me and the approach she should have them take to resolve an issue like this. I asked her WHY I had to wait 4 days, send a team member out, and waste time and energy for a response. She finally expressed empathy for our situation and offered to make it right by crediting our account with $50 ONLY IF we remain with them. At this point I have spent over $2,000 on flying a team member and paying another facility. When we showed up at the storage locker after the call from Brit, there was a lock and a key inside for us to install, which was what we were promised from the beginning and never given. Brit called me because she saw my reviews and asked me to revise them, which is what I am doing here. I would have given zero stars originally. Since I received a call back and the unit is now "secure", my review stands at 1-star.

1. Paid for a unit on the 'Second' floor but the actual unit was simply ABOVE another unit and had access via one of those warehouse ladders. NOT second floor. No way in heck is the average person going to want to lug all their stuff up to (what looked like a small-ish) locker. 2. Asked for a refund for being unable to use the unit, the first call I was on hold for most of three-hours while the agent sent notes to a 'resolutions team' that must be based in a totally different dimension it took them so long to respond. 3. called back 8 days later to inquire about the refund and spent an hour on the same type of 'hold'. The person insisted that i had received an email saying my money was 'voided/refunded'. if that was the case I wouldn't have been talking to her. 4. Refund still not seen in my account and the 'invoice' they sent only shows that i paid them for the unit not that the $$ was refunded. 5. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
