They say they are open until 8pm. I went to the storage place, and there was no one there. I decided to reserve a storage and get one on Saturday. I got the gate code when I finished signing the documents. I went to the gate code and it said wrong code. I tried it several times. I also went in to look at the storage locker through a gate I can walk through. I didn't like the fact there was a big piece of wood laying across it, and I had to go under it to go in. Once I went through the gate, I went to the assigned storage locker only to see that there was a red lock on it!!!! I called a couple of times, and no one answered. I had to leave vm's. This was before 8pm, which is when they close so they should have been open. I just hope I can get my money back, or they fix these issues today (Sunday). They did get my money back. Thanks guys!

If I could have 0 stars I would! This place is awful! Do a NOT rent here! The pot holes are as big as my car, the weeds are taller than I am and I pay for a climate controlled unit and it is over 90 degrees in our unit! There is no one on site, when you call you get a call center where the people barely speak English, they tell you they have taken your complaint and will deliver it to whom it needs to go, but nothing, I mean NOTHING ever changes! If I could add pics to my review I have pics of the pot holes, pics of the weeds pics that this place is ridiculous!

We rented a climate controlled unit. There is NO AC and the temp inside is well over 100 degrees. We have called more than 3 times over the last 5 weeks and spoken to different people each time. They keep closing the ticket stating it has been fixed. We asked for a call back and have yet to receive one. We plan to pursue legal action as the extreme temps have possibly damaged the very items we needed climate control to store. We are paying for a service that is not being provided. We have contacted the Better Business Bureau as well. Still no AC not call back. DO NOT USE THIS STORAGE FACILITY.

I’d give negative 5 if I could. Update: to add why not to store here: after a month of attempting to contact the manager it took posting a review for his “workers” to call. The manger is still hiding away while his “workers” have attempted to gaslight and manipulate me. They stated they never had breakin’s prior to my experience, nor did they ever state to me that one occurred despite me having proof. Luckily for me- not only did I get the names of people who this happened to through the Facebook community but the police also confirmed it. (Got to love the internet as it’s forever)! The “manger” is refusing to communicate with the police and when I tried to settle with the company they said they would mail me a check and refund my last month. But not only did they not do that but they told the insurance company not to pay out (as I did insurance through them). So yeah get your own insurance. As for me: I’ll be taking them to court. You all should avoid this place at all cost. Normally I don’t air my business like this but if it means someone else doesn’t get screwed over then so be it. As for lakeside: they shouldn’t have underestimated me. Nor should they continue to do so. But everything always comes to light. Oh and no matter what they say- they don’t have security cameras as they are always “broken” but really just dummy cameras. And they never fix the locks. Keep your stuff safe and if you have stuff there get it out! I’ll also be seeing if a post can be made in the paper to make others aware to get their items out. Someone needs to look out for people. I drove 8 hrs to quickly load up our home that sold having secured, or so we thought, a storage unit at Branson Lakeview Storage. It was late, nearly dark, and once we found the assigned unit it was open and filled with construction material. We had been promised a locked, clean, and ready unit upon arrival. We spent over an hour talking to off-shore people who told us they didn’t have another unit that size available, but could rent us a larger one for 3x the cost. They refused to acknowledge their mistake and rather than continue with hang-ups and stalling we contacted Jake at Fall Creek Storage and not only did he accommodate us a unit, waived the deposit, but bent over backwards to try and make me feel better. This was the total opposite of what Branson Lakeview Storage did. Now they not only haven’t refunded me all the charges they’ve taken Carte Blanche to assess to my credit card, but refuse to do so stating NOW months later, they could accommodate us a unit. And as such, they are now accommodating and will continue to charge my credit card. BE AWARE & VERY WARY of this facility and how they do business. Gayle Colvin

I’m still very concerned with many discrepancies I’m being told and that law enforcement is having trouble getting the surveillance footage. That being said Tina was very kind and understanding and I’m aware she is sending this information on to the owners. She is the one good asset I’ve seen with this facility and I do hope that along with her kindness was nothing but full honesty and transparency. Thank you.

One star only because zero was not an option. Same issues as others. Gate Code did not work, etc. We rented via a phone call originally. Asked if we could get a semi moving semi truck to our unit, was told yes, not a problem. Luckily after we rented we were in town and went to investigate the property. No way a Semi was getting down to the 400 units. Went to look at our units (We rented to (2) 10x20 units ), opened the door and it had other peoples stuff in it. Called the off-site property managers and told them and it was "ohh no big deal we order the cleaning crew to remove it from the unit". We have canceled our contract and are moving on to another complex.

Do not rent storage units from this place. They force you to use insurance even if you don't want or need it. I paid on time or early every month and in the end they had a 9 dollar fee for insurance and refused to close the account until it was paid. They do not care about customers or getting return customers. I had a very expensive car in my unit that had insurance. I did not need it from them. The grounds are not well kept and the gate was broken for several months so nothing was secure.

I would not recommend Branson Lakeview storage to any one!!! I rented a unit moved out of another facility drove 50 miles for the storage I rented. Arrived at the facility and my access code did not work. I tried calling them for about 20 min before I was able to speak to a person. So after telling them what’s going on for about another 30 he gave me an emergency code to get in. We hung and we drove in the gate. Us meaning a moving crew that I hired we 2 trucks and 2 trailers loaded. So once in I found the unit I rented went to the door and there was keypad to open the door. Well I had no code to open the door. I called back and after speaking with the representative for about 45 minutes came to the conclusion that I was not getting there that evening, this was a Thursday, he said someone will call me Friday. Well as of Friday at 3pm no call. I called several times to finally get someone to talk to. They were waiting on the on site manager to check into it and reach out to me. Well nothing, so Monday at 3:15 I called back spoke to a representative and he said the on-site rep will be calling me in about 15 minutes. He did and after going through everything again with him he said let me see what is going on. I said oh are you over there. He said no we don’t have any one at this site I’m in Florida. I said you have to be kidding me right, he said no. Lol wow. So after he looked everything over he says that unit they rented me was not available and they have nothing that size. So after paying the movers, my time, lost time & fuel oh and losing my other unit that I moved out of because this would be more convenient. I was out right at $1000. They did end up refunding the money for rent but everything else was a loss. So I hope this place goes under BERY POOR MANAGEMENT, SERVICE, location and pretty sure cameras don’t work they never knew I was there. Thank you for not renting from these people. Also reporting to the BBB

You wouldn't believe my experience. Horrible. No one on site, still can't get my stuff out of my storage after days and days of a mistake on their part. They put a red lock, on my storage, I moved, and don't have my bed. I'm 78, sleeping on the floor. I'm tempted to call Ashley Reynolds with KY 3. They will investigate and come with a camera crew. And it will be live on on the news. Only communication is from the state of Illinois, she's doing what she can, from there, but not getting any help from the person, who put the lock on my storage.

I have seen the reviews, but my experience was quite different. The ladies covering the facility were very helpful and took the time to explain everything. She allowed me to go check the unit out for the size I needed, before I did the paperwork. This is done online or over the phone. Once again making it easy and time efficient for me. They offer Autopay- one more convenient feature.

They say they are open until 8pm. I went to the storage place, and there was no one there. I decided to reserve a storage and get one on Saturday. I got the gate code when I finished signing the documents. I went to the gate code and it said wrong code. I tried it several times. I also went in to look at the storage locker through a gate I can walk through. I didn't like the fact there was a big piece of wood laying across it, and I had to go under it to go in. Once I went through the gate, I went to the assigned storage locker only to see that there was a red lock on it!!!! I called a couple of times, and no one answered. I had to leave vm's. This was before 8pm, which is when they close so they should have been open. I just hope I can get my money back, or they fix these issues today (Sunday). They did get my money back. Thanks guys!

current prices are "a promotion price" and "reflect market value", prices will be raised, while new units are going for the same price you moved in as. Talked with 3rd party management group, and said i would be able to cancel my unit, and get a new one at the original price. Not sure how that shows a marketplace increase. secondary price not shown, so not sure how the first price shown is suppose to be a promotional.

If I could have 0 stars I would! This place is awful! Do a NOT rent here! The pot holes are as big as my car, the weeds are taller than I am and I pay for a climate controlled unit and it is over 90 degrees in our unit! There is no one on site, when you call you get a call center where the people barely speak English, they tell you they have taken your complaint and will deliver it to whom it needs to go, but nothing, I mean NOTHING ever changes! If I could add pics to my review I have pics of the pot holes, pics of the weeds pics that this place is ridiculous!

We rented a climate controlled unit. There is NO AC and the temp inside is well over 100 degrees. We have called more than 3 times over the last 5 weeks and spoken to different people each time. They keep closing the ticket stating it has been fixed. We asked for a call back and have yet to receive one. We plan to pursue legal action as the extreme temps have possibly damaged the very items we needed climate control to store. We are paying for a service that is not being provided. We have contacted the Better Business Bureau as well. Still no AC not call back. DO NOT USE THIS STORAGE FACILITY.

I’d give negative 5 if I could. Update: to add why not to store here: after a month of attempting to contact the manager it took posting a review for his “workers” to call. The manger is still hiding away while his “workers” have attempted to gaslight and manipulate me. They stated they never had breakin’s prior to my experience, nor did they ever state to me that one occurred despite me having proof. Luckily for me- not only did I get the names of people who this happened to through the Facebook community but the police also confirmed it. (Got to love the internet as it’s forever)! The “manger” is refusing to communicate with the police and when I tried to settle with the company they said they would mail me a check and refund my last month. But not only did they not do that but they told the insurance company not to pay out (as I did insurance through them). So yeah get your own insurance. As for me: I’ll be taking them to court. You all should avoid this place at all cost. Normally I don’t air my business like this but if it means someone else doesn’t get screwed over then so be it. As for lakeside: they shouldn’t have underestimated me. Nor should they continue to do so. But everything always comes to light. Oh and no matter what they say- they don’t have security cameras as they are always “broken” but really just dummy cameras. And they never fix the locks. Keep your stuff safe and if you have stuff there get it out! I’ll also be seeing if a post can be made in the paper to make others aware to get their items out. Someone needs to look out for people. I drove 8 hrs to quickly load up our home that sold having secured, or so we thought, a storage unit at Branson Lakeview Storage. It was late, nearly dark, and once we found the assigned unit it was open and filled with construction material. We had been promised a locked, clean, and ready unit upon arrival. We spent over an hour talking to off-shore people who told us they didn’t have another unit that size available, but could rent us a larger one for 3x the cost. They refused to acknowledge their mistake and rather than continue with hang-ups and stalling we contacted Jake at Fall Creek Storage and not only did he accommodate us a unit, waived the deposit, but bent over backwards to try and make me feel better. This was the total opposite of what Branson Lakeview Storage did. Now they not only haven’t refunded me all the charges they’ve taken Carte Blanche to assess to my credit card, but refuse to do so stating NOW months later, they could accommodate us a unit. And as such, they are now accommodating and will continue to charge my credit card. BE AWARE & VERY WARY of this facility and how they do business. Gayle Colvin

Edit: the facility asked in a response below that I contact them. So as my response to your response: I have been attempting to do so for over a month and it went to the automatic payment place repeatedly and no one is ever found to be on property. That being said; Tina did reach out to me today so thank you Tina. I’m still very concerned with many discrepancies I’m being told and that law enforcement is having trouble getting the surveillance footage. That being said Tina was very kind and understanding and I’m aware she is sending this information on to the owners. She is the one good asset I’ve seen with this facility and I do hope that along with her kindness was nothing but full honesty and transparency. Thank you.

One star only because zero was not an option. Same issues as others. Gate Code did not work, etc. We rented via a phone call originally. Asked if we could get a semi moving semi truck to our unit, was told yes, not a problem. Luckily after we rented we were in town and went to investigate the property. No way a Semi was getting down to the 400 units. Went to look at our units (We rented to (2) 10x20 units ), opened the door and it had other peoples stuff in it. Called the off-site property managers and told them and it was "ohh no big deal we order the cleaning crew to remove it from the unit". We have canceled our contract and are moving on to another complex.

Do not rent storage units from this place. They force you to use insurance even if you don't want or need it. I paid on time or early every month and in the end they had a 9 dollar fee for insurance and refused to close the account until it was paid. They do not care about customers or getting return customers. I had a very expensive car in my unit that had insurance. I did not need it from them. The grounds are not well kept and the gate was broken for several months so nothing was secure.

I would not recommend Branson Lakeview storage to any one!!! I rented a unit moved out of another facility drove 50 miles for the storage I rented. Arrived at the facility and my access code did not work. I tried calling them for about 20 min before I was able to speak to a person. So after telling them what’s going on for about another 30 he gave me an emergency code to get in. We hung and we drove in the gate. Us meaning a moving crew that I hired we 2 trucks and 2 trailers loaded. So once in I found the unit I rented went to the door and there was keypad to open the door. Well I had no code to open the door. I called back and after speaking with the representative for about 45 minutes came to the conclusion that I was not getting there that evening, this was a Thursday, he said someone will call me Friday. Well as of Friday at 3pm no call. I called several times to finally get someone to talk to. They were waiting on the on site manager to check into it and reach out to me. Well nothing, so Monday at 3:15 I called back spoke to a representative and he said the on-site rep will be calling me in about 15 minutes. He did and after going through everything again with him he said let me see what is going on. I said oh are you over there. He said no we don’t have any one at this site I’m in Florida. I said you have to be kidding me right, he said no. Lol wow. So after he looked everything over he says that unit they rented me was not available and they have nothing that size. So after paying the movers, my time, lost time & fuel oh and losing my other unit that I moved out of because this would be more convenient. I was out right at $1000. They did end up refunding the money for rent but everything else was a loss. So I hope this place goes under BERY POOR MANAGEMENT, SERVICE, location and pretty sure cameras don’t work they never knew I was there. Thank you for not renting from these people. Also reporting to the BBB

You wouldn't believe my experience. Horrible. No one on site, still can't get my stuff out of my storage after days and days of a mistake on their part. They put a red lock, on my storage, I moved, and don't have my bed. I'm 78, sleeping on the floor. I'm tempted to call Ashley Reynolds with KY 3. They will investigate and come with a camera crew. And it will be live on on the news. Only communication is from the state of Illinois, she's doing what she can, from there, but not getting any help from the person, who put the lock on my storage.
