Pros: the facility is generally somewhat climate controlled. Cons: the exterior of the building was rarely locked for the 9 months I was there. When it was, the passcode on the outside of the building didn't work and you had to call to get a new code, sometimes being met with information that the building could not be accessed for about a week. usually the exterior security was just propped open with a brick, which doesn't leave one feeling like their property is secure. this wasn't a week or two issue, this was the consistent status quo for 8 months. This was complained about frequently and always met with general indifference. for the better part of January, one of the exterior doors was just left completely propped wide open. Also, I never saw one person who worked on site. this entire facility is managed from outside the region (and as best I can tell, outside the country), so good luck getting anything close to personalized help. Also, a major part of the parking for the building had construction equipment for a job not even being done at the facility parked on it for the better part of 5 months, making it unusable for it's tenants. Finally, don't expect them to work with you at all. after 8 months of consistent on time payments despite all of the above issues, when my move out date began to approach, and I informed them my closing on my house was on the last day of a month, and that my movers were lined up to move everything out of the facility on the first day of the next month, I was informed I would need to pay for the entire month despite being moved out in the first 12 hours. and on top of that, they made it clear that they would feel at liberty to still rent out the unit I had paid for but had moved out of. I would not recommend this facility to anyone who wants secure, safe, reliable, and customer friendly service. ADDENDUM IN RESPONSE TO YOUR RESPONSE: I tried to return your call at the number you provided. it was to your customer service which is outsourced out of country and they had no idea what I was calling about, which is pretty on par with the experience I had throughout my stay. I fully understand that pro rating doesn't align with your policy, but an unsecure facility also doesn't align with your policy. lack of access by the user for over a week doesn't align with your policy. I experienced both of these throughout my stay, but when I needed just 12 hours to move out at the start of the month, I was told firmly that if I was in the facility for any period of time in a given month, I owed for the entire month. When asked about that prior to moving out, your email response was literally "we cannot compensate when the entrance is down for all tenants, as it affects everyone at the facility". that is a direct quote. my gripe with the lack of pro rating is you take a draconian approach to customer service when it benefits you but expect and demand full grace and understanding when it doesn't. Also, FWIW, it's not that the key pad was down for a day or two while you got someone on site. I was there for 8 months and it was down the entire stay except right before I moved out. so forgive me if I am a little skeptical about your position that you take security at the facility seriously.

It's easy to rent, but the quality control lately has been awful. None of the keycodes to the building work. I have been locked out for weeks. They say they have replaced a chip or something, and ordered new key pads, but they've been saying that since the beginning with no change so far, so everyone is locked out of the building without access. They say there is nothing they can do, and when asked about compensation for lack of access they say there isn't any. The people on the phone say they are overseas and not even in the U.S. to fix these problems. They're really nice people, but this company is useless right now.

I will start by saying I have never reviewed a company before on google, but the service provided by this company has been so unacceptable that I felt it necessary to warn others. This facility is horrible. I originally started renting when the facility was owned locally as AAA Storage. My monthly rent was $55, there was someone always at the front, and getting into the building was easy and secure. Since new ownership, doors and key pads have been broken, there is never anybody onsite or even local, customer service has been awful, and my rent has been increased multiple times, and well as adding required insurance. Here’s my rent increase breakdown for a 5x12 space: Increase from $55 to $61 with mandatory $13 insurance added (somewhere between 11/2022 and 6/2023, can’t remember exact date) Increase from $61 to $70 9/2023 (plus $13 mandatory insurance) Increase from $70 to $81 6/2024 (plus $13 mandatory insurance) And now an additional notice one month later of additional rent increase starting 7/1/24 to $93 plus $13 insurance. The best part is I never signed a rental agreement with this company and the rental agreement I signed with the original owners did not require insurance. So I have now had an increase in my rent from $55 to a total of $106, nearly doubling in price in a year and a half. For a place that goes back and forth between unlocked doors to keypads not working (so either renters can’t get in or EVERYBODY can get in). And basically no customer service, or at least nothing you could call customer service. Needless to say I am pretty disappointed in this company and the way the treat their renters.

I experienced both of these throughout my stay, but when I needed just 12 hours to move out at the start of the month, I was told firmly that if I was in the facility for any period of time in a given month, I owed for the entire month. When asked about that prior to moving out, your email response was literally "we cannot compensate when the entrance is down for all tenants, as it affects everyone at the facility". that is a direct quote. my gripe with the lack of pro rating is you take a draconian approach to customer service when it benefits you but expect and demand full grace and understanding when it doesn't. Also, FWIW, it's not that the key pad was down for a day or two while you got someone on site. I was there for 8 months and it was down the entire stay except right before I moved out. so forgive me if I am a little skeptical about your position that you take security at the facility seriously.

It's easy to rent, but the quality control lately has been awful. None of the keycodes to the building work. I have been locked out for weeks. They say they have replaced a chip or something, and ordered new key pads, but they've been saying that since the beginning with no change so far, so everyone is locked out of the building without access. They say there is nothing they can do, and when asked about compensation for lack of access they say there isn't any. The people on the phone say they are overseas and not even in the U.S. to fix these problems. They're really nice people, but this company is useless right now.

Might not be for “human” comfort, but there is still no way it should be as hot as it is under “climate control” could be why you have so many empty units! Thank you for responding ? I will start by saying I have never reviewed a company before on google, but the service provided by this company has been so unacceptable that I felt it necessary to warn others. This facility is horrible. I originally started renting when the facility was owned locally as AAA Storage. My monthly rent was $55, there was someone always at the front, and getting into the building was easy and secure. Since new ownership, doors and key pads have been broken, there is never anybody onsite or even local, customer service has been awful, and my rent has been increased multiple times, and well as adding required insurance. Here’s my rent increase breakdown for a 5x12 space: Increase from $55 to $61 with mandatory $13 insurance added (somewhere between 11/2022 and 6/2023, can’t remember exact date) Increase from $61 to $70 9/2023 (plus $13 mandatory insurance) Increase from $70 to $81 6/2024 (plus $13 mandatory insurance) And now an additional notice one month later of additional rent increase starting 7/1/24 to $93 plus $13 insurance. The best part is I never signed a rental agreement with this company and the rental agreement I signed with the original owners did not require insurance. So I have now had an increase in my rent from $55 to a total of $106, nearly doubling in price in a year and a half. For a place that goes back and forth between unlocked doors to keypads not working (so either renters can’t get in or EVERYBODY can get in). And basically no customer service, or at least nothing you could call customer service. Needless to say I am pretty disappointed in this company and the way the treat their renters.
