I was going through a banking issue that had to be resolved with three of my accounts. One of them Sheboygan Self Storage. I was fortunate enough to have my call answered by Ruth. She assisted with getting the information needed for my rental unit that I changed and the difference of charges that took effect with patience beyond anyone I have ever dealt with before. My age of 72 makes that a lot of encounters to have dealt with. I can not appreciate Ruth enough for her character over the phone. Angela helped me on the phone this afternoon. THANK YOU FOR HER SERVICE I called to give my bank card numbers change due to being compromised. Management is EXTREMELY hard to get ahold of. The elevator has been broken the last three times I went within the past two weeks, resulting in us having to carry everything up or down to the first floor, and I feel as this storage (10×12) has less space than my last one (10×10) due to us being able to fit more in our previous one and don't get me started on rent/insurance increase Add on 10/19/23: I called today to gather some information, I received refusal to help and answers to my question, constantly kept saying they same thing and when I asked to talk to a higher up or owner they said that they can't provide me with that information or leave a message to contact me back. When I processed to say that they're HAS to be someone above him that could assist me, the respersentive hung up on me. Has been nothing but problem after problem! 0 out of 10, wouldn't recommend this storage to anyone! RUN THE OTHER WAY

This storage facility is a lingering cesspool. Do NOT store anything at 1336 Kentucky Ave in sheboygan. We found drug paraphernalia in our unit, missing items, broken boxes...etc...Our unit was one of many that was not 100% secure and we truly believe people climb over the walls. Since the top two floors are open for anyone to access by jumpjng/climbing over...We have heard screaming ,yelling etc from lingering folks. Even with the extra insurance we have paid monthly, nothing was resolved. Just ab extra attempt on taking money. Big middle finger! Glad I'm out. Most of the time we went there, there was someone sobbing, crying because they lost their unit or couldn't access it.

I paid $57 for a 5x5 and was expecting to move my stuff in that day but boy was i wrong. first off, it is REMOTELY operated and has 1 owner. so if theres an emergency or even needing to get into the facility then youll need to speak to an indian call center who is NO help whatsoever. I was expecting a refund of $57.50 but all i got was an email saying 'thanks for moving out' and have yet to see my money back. How this place still stands regarding its issues is beyond me and whoever reads this wants to know, i will be filing a lawsuit against this place and bring it to the ground. Not only are you thieves who steal peoples money but yalls forgot, FALSE ADVERTISING is illegal so i hope to see all of you in court for painfully ripping off sheboygan county.

DO NOT RENT HERE 1. i’ve rented here off and on since 2021 and the freight elevator is always jammed, down or being fixed. 2. i actually was trapped inside the elevator several times because the gates jamed or someone else in the building didn’t close it just right on the floor i arrived at. 3. there is no onsite management- its a remote owner who provides a foreign call center for support and they are 100% useless. when they upgraded their entry/exit keypad the front door would not let me OUT of the building because the lock was sticking and i was trapped inside the facility despite my keypad code being accepted. the call center was not able to help me of course. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED- GO ELSEWHERE. also in terms of convenience it is extremely hard to push your belongings down their maze of hallways and the floors are old boards that are uneven with cracks so the cart gets stuck everywhere especially going from the hallway onto the elevator because its a different level. The loading entrance also is a pain because there is only room for one vehicle at a time so if you’re there on a day when someone else is trying to move in or out, it can be very challenging or create a lengthy wait to park and then try and get use of the single elevator, if it is even working

They claim there is no issue since "There is access to my 3rd floor units by the stairwell". Need to move out due planned move and they are unwilling to provide any assistance in getting items down the 3 flights of stairs or provide any $ reimbursement for the additional time it will take our movers to move out! There is no onsite management. The only contact is through a Non US call center. Once we do get our stuff out we're worried about what our clothes, upholstered furniture and mattresses will look like due to mouse infestation. And by the way rents increased September 1. ** Followed up with the service # below on 9/20 - absolutely zero help! No accomodations or consideration! 10/17/2023 - So happy to be out of this mice infested "Hole". Spent all week carrying my items down 3 flights of stairs due to the elevator being out of service for the last 3 months. The ownership believes a working elevator is optional in a 4 story storage facility as long as there is a stairwell. Twice it broke down leaving myself and another trapped inside. Customer service has been zero help and no attempt to refund or discount the unit has been made and now they are charging $2.00 a month to rent a $10.00 lock! This place is a joke.

I am currently in a brand new apartment with none of my stuff and they are not doing anything about what is going on. It's completely unacceptable also as for my name not being in your system,obviously my legal name is not Coco luvly. I have been in contact with your remote service numerous times in the past month. With no answers I am sorry, but shouldn't have to be sorry for not being able to move my furniture down 5 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS! Is it permits or is it parts? I've heard both. What exactly is the facility going to do with having hundreds of units with out complete access? And how can you raise the rental price with out notice? When you have a unit on the 4th floor and you go to bring your stuff to the unit and this is what you find on the elevator. Worst place ever. I called and canceled my unit and fought to get my money back. They for some reason will not fix the elevator the right way. You can't even touch one side of the elevator or it will stop working and the fire department will be called and you will be fined .

Would not recommend. Thank you for finally responding and acknowledging everyone's issues...5 months later. We had no response the day we were helping people move and needed to get into the building even after numerous calls. Reading the rest of the reviews I'm really disappointed and would never recommend you. Moving is already stressful for some people. You should make every effort to assist people and keep the place clean and safe.

I wish I would of read the reviews before hand . My mistake . The smell of smoke upon coming into the unit . Rats and outside animals in the storage space . Absolutely unacceptable . We got our stuff outta there as soon as we could . You pay to have your stuff kept in a decent area and can’t even get that . Would NOT RECOMMEND. Actually RUN far away. Don’t waste your money on it because obviously this establishment don’t care about anything.

The owner is very disrespectful and has no people skills. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Thieves are getting in and stealing from the storage units, no video of this happening. There's no one there to run the place and it is dirty. They will not prorate your rent if you move in or out early. This place is nothing but a rip off. Been here since it opened and it has gone down hill really fast. They don't even deserve the one star. No I have the right place my name isn't on the contract for the storage units that I rent with a friend. We have been renting for over a year and things were alright at first but lately things have changed for the worse.

The entrance door was broken. As you walk through the hallway the strong odor of urine & cigarettes hits you. As I’m looking for the elevator you would need two people to open the lever door, hopefully no one is using it. If so, you would have to buzz a bell to let them know some one is in need of the elevator. Instead, I went looking to take the stairway and there was a dead mouse on the first level. Entering into the stairwell it is very dirty & smells. Wouldn’t recommend.
